I took a big risk by putting the word “death” in the subject line of this email. Death is a topic most of us take pains to avoid. The word makes us so uncomfortable that when someone dies, we substitute phrases like “pass away,” “departed this life,” or “went to be with the Lord.” (more…)
I’m excited to present a sermon series for Lent called “Living Your Life on Purpose.” During this season, we journey to Jerusalem with Jesus. Going to the Holy City was at the heart of his life’s calling, his purpose. Each year, what amazes me is the resoluteness with which he took the journey. (more…)
