The Perspective that Changes Everything

The Christian faith invites us to see God, the world, and ourselves in a radically new way. When we are converted to Christ, we take a giant leap out of darkness into light. As the Apostle Paul explains, “For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation” (Colossians 1:13-15).

He promises to meet us in the depths of our own hearts, whether those depths are quiet or stormy, overflowing with joy or overwhelmed by despair.

In any field, the most outstanding inventions, discoveries, and accomplishments began in someone’s mind’s eye. Until a vision sprang up of a new way to solve a problem, meet a need, or advance a cause, no one could move forward.



Your Winning Season

I’m looking forward to seeing you this Sunday as our worship time returns to 10:30 a.m. We will welcome back our wonderful choir and celebrate the Lord’s Supper together.

At Community Church of Providence we are walking the path of faith together, following Jesus one step at a time. Over the summer our steps have perhaps led us to beaches, picnics, family times, and other fun activities.
